This unique, one of a kind Peruvian turquoise chrysocolla necklace was handmade by Beckinka using a brown (26) strong waxed polyester cord called Linhasita. The style is micro macrame. The gemstone cabochon was handpicked in Peru. It is wrapped with an intricate micro-macrame knotting, so it will stay in place without any glue.
The waxed polyester string (Linhasita) is extremely durable, water/sweat resistant, washable, and comfortable to wear. The necklace is finished with a macrame slipknot, which allows for various neck sizes and styles. Other types of closures are available, as well.
