This beautiful malachite gemstone necklace was handmade by Beckinka using micro macrame (tight knotting). The all natural stone cabochon is wrapped in Linhasita string that is knotted, so it stays in place without any glue or wire. The black cord helps enhance the colors of the stone
The cord is a strong, waxed polyester string called Linhasita which is extremely durable, water/sweat resistant, washable, and comfortable to wear. The necklace is finished with a macrame slip knot, which allows for various neck sizes and lengths.
All jewelry begins with just a cord and stone, the rest is macrame "knotted" cord manipulated to create unique designs. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and designed to enhance the features of the stone.

Pendant: 2.6 inches, 66mm.

PROPERTIES:
Malachite is usually found in opaque green masses, the color is derived from the copper. A stone with a characteristic bubbly look, malachite is cut and polished to show the alternating light and dark green layers.
This stone clears and activates the chakras and attunes to spiritual guidance.
